Kim ten Oever = Make Glass Work

Glass in the heart of Glasriket

At my studio in The Glass Factory artistic ideas can be realized in several different glass techniques.

Make Glass Work at The Glass Factory

In the summer of 2020 I completed the move of my glass-art studio from the Netherlands to my 'atelje' in museum The Glass Factory, Boda Glasbruk.

About Kim:

After obtaining a bachelor degree in Monumental Design at the Royal Art Academy in The Hague and then specialized in glass. As a professional glass-artist since 2005, I have exhibited my art, worked in commision and practiced as an art-educator.

Through the years it has become clear to me that next to a great curiosity about the possibilities of the material glass a large part of my artistic tendency leads to developing educational projects. Art and education can go hand in hand or even crossover to eachother.

At the Master Art-Education at ArtEZ in the Netherlands I found the opportunity to explore this concept, and to give room for my wish for material research I moved to Glasriket in 2020.

These life events gave clarity in what is of most value to me.

:To work with the material glass, share and enjoy this, to explore new collaborations and create possibilities.
